The Nail RN

Some Spider-Man nails from this week to tell yall that I passed my state exams and I am now a licensed nail tech!!🎉🎉🎉

I loved doing my own nails for so long and never even thought about doing it professionally until about 2 years ago. I started looking into schools in the area but quickly realized it would not work with my full time nursing schedule. It was a little over a year ago that I randomly started looking into an apprenticeship (if that was even a thing). I found one salon in my area that offered apprenticeships for nails! I called them and was placed on a waitlist without having any idea of how long that wait would be (turns out, it was about a year, they called me just a couple of months ago😅). Then, I found Stacy! She just so happened to have an opening in her salon to apprentice me, and she would be able to work around my full time nursing schedule! Truly, truly a God thing with how it all worked out🥰

My most asked question has been if I’m leaving nursing. No way! Nursing pays the bills, nails pay for thrills!😅

Anyway, thanks for all the support! And thanks to everyone who let me practice on them🫶🏻I’m excited to keep learning and growing and posting exciting stuff❤️

Hey guys! I’ve been MIA lately, but I’ve got news!! I finished my apprenticeship🎉🎈 I now have a temp license while I wait to take my licensing test at the end of July! This means I now have extended hours and availability on some Saturdays now🎉🙌🏻 so if you’ve been wanting to book with me but my hours didn’t fit your schedule, hit me up!!
