This has been the longest I've gone without coming up so I am dying to be there. This trip is both for my birthday, and to help get my niece all settled in her dorm at Boise State. I can't wait to see you all and to actually have a "fun only" trip!

I completed the Footprints in Medical Herbalism program at the Acorn School of Herbal Medicine in Nevada City, Ca. What a fascinating and life changing first year this was. I can't wait to bring everything this amazing school has taught me into my business. Now, with both an Estheticians license, and being a Certified Herbalist I can approach beauty concerns on an external AND internal level by helping to raise your overal health so you can truly shine from the inaide out!

I have two more years of study to go and I already can't wait to start the advanced program this September. I plan to stay in the beauty industry and will now be combining holistic health and beauty together. Eventually, as I finish school I will be practicing as a full time herbalist. Dealing with all non-major health concerns, while offering hand made non-toxic beauty products, herbal medicines and supplements, and medicinal teas.

I've done this natural remedy for years and it's worked wonders for me! It's not a secret, it's all over the internet. HIGHLY recomend doing it at night though before bed, as the Turmeric can stain your skin a little until the next time you wash your face.

Along with my regular skin care, this mask is amazing and its completely natural, with zero harsh chemicals. Its a simple mask using raw local honey, Turmeric, and a few drops of fresh lemon juice. This helps to brighten, even out skin tone, and will help anyone with inflamed acne. The Turmeric targets pigmentation and is very anti-inflammatory so it will help red, inflamed acne. Lemon juice helps to exfoliate due to citric acid and is loaded with vitamin c for brightening. While honey is very soothing and moisturizing, balancing out the other ingredients.

For one treatment you don't need much. I mix around 1/4tsp, equal part honey, and a few drips of lemon juice to make a paste. Give it a try! You'll be surprised 😉

POWER STANCE!! It's a real thing in my world. I prefer a shorter makeup chair, but when I have little itty bitty clients in the chair it's almost too short. So, I make it work with the power stance so I don't kill my back. Works great!
