Sometimes a haircut is just a haircut. And sometimes it’s something much bigger.

This young athlete sat in my chair and chose to donate all her hair to Locks of Love. As I worked away, she shared all the ways her life would be “lighter” with all the hair gone. By the end of the appointment, she was glowing. She kept smiling and told me she felt empowered! 🦸🏻‍♀️✊👊

I love hair, but what I really love is witnessing those moments when someone sees themselves in a new way. It’s an honor I never take for granted.
