Hair Gone Wild is a creative, inclusive salon looking for talented and passionate California-licensed Hairstylists/Barbers to join our salon!

Hair Gone Wild is a creative, inclusive salon looking for talented and passionate California-licensed Hairstylists/Barbers to join our salon as independent contractors.

We’re a salon that celebrates individuality, creativity, and self-expression. We are proudly LGBTQ+ friendly and believe everyone should feel comfortable being themselves, both behind and in the chair.

We’re looking for stylists who want the freedom of an independent work environment while still being part of a collaborative salon team.

About the Position

This is an independent contractor position, giving you the freedom to operate and grow your own beauty business while working alongside other independent stylists.

Although each stylist operates independently, we believe in working as a team rather than completely separately. We support one another, refer clients to each other, and help book clients for one another when needed. We want our salon to feel like a community where stylists can collaborate and support each other’s businesses.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for stylists who are:

• Currently licensed in California
• Creative, passionate, and confident in their work
• Friendly, professional, and dependable
• Comfortable working independently
• Team-oriented and willing to support fellow stylists
• Passionate about creating an inclusive and welcoming experience for clients
• Interested in building and growing their own clientele
• Comfortable with client consultations and creating personalized looks
• Excited to showcase their work through photos and social media
• Respectful of different identities, styles, backgrounds, and forms of self-expression
• Interested in continuing to learn, experiment, and grow as a stylist

We Love Creativity!

Hair Gone Wild is especially welcoming to stylists who enjoy creative hair.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Vivid/fashion colors
• Color corrections
• Blonding and dimensional color
• Highlights and balayage
• Creative and alternative cuts
• Short/fashion-forward haircuts
• Extensions
• Formal styling
• Editorial or creative styling
• Other specialty services

You do not need to specialize in everything listed above. We value individual specialties and want each stylist to bring their own creativity and expertise to the salon.
