Meet Halia, our newest team member and stylist at Empower!

Originally from the Midwest, Halia has called St. Pete home for the last five years. She’s an Aveda Institute graduate and has been behind the chair since 2022, with a passion for creating customized hair that feels just as good as it looks.

From fresh cuts and dimensional color to highlights and a really good blowout, Halia’s approach fits right into what we believe at Empower: healthy hair first. She prioritizes the integrity of the hair while creating looks that work for the person actually wearing them.

But what really made us excited to welcome Halia is the experience she wants to create behind her chair. A place where you can relax, be yourself, have a good conversation, and leave feeling a little more like the best version of YOU.

And before you see her behind the chair, you may see Halia working our front desk, answering the phone, or being one of the smiling faces welcoming you into our space. Make sure you say hi! We already know we have the best clients in St. Pete to help make her feel right at home with us.

A few things you should know about Halia: she’s a Ta**us ♉️, her playlist can jump from 2000s rock to R&B to whatever she’s currently obsessed with, and outside the salon you can probably find her taking a trip to the springs, vintage shopping, singing karaoke, hanging with her cat Bubby, or finding a way to uplift the people around her.
