One thing I’ve learned when cutting thick, wavy, or curly hair is this: slow down.

Don’t rush through it. Take small, clean sections and let the hair guide you. Thick hair can easily become bulky or uneven if you remove too much too quickly.

Working in smaller sections gives you better control, more consistency, and a much more polished result.

Sometimes the best haircut isn’t about cutting faster—it’s about cutting smarter.
