✨ A Little Update from Onyx Hair Studio! ✨

To continue providing the best possible experience for our guests and stylists, we’re making a few updates to our salon policies! 🤍

We value your time just as much as we value our stylists’ time, and these policies help us keep our schedules running smoothly while giving every guest the attention and care they deserve.

Our Updated Salon Policies:

🤍 Cancellations & No-Shows: We understand that life happens! However, after one late cancellation or no-show, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a 50% charge, and no-shows will be subject to a 60% charge.

🤍 Late Arrivals: We offer a 15-minute grace period for appointments. Arrivals beyond this window will need to be rescheduled to ensure our stylists have adequate time for each guest.

🤍 Required Deposits: All first-time guests will be required to pay a $50 nonrefundable deposit for appointments over $200, which will be applied toward their appointment. Deposits will also be required for guests who have previously had a late cancellation or no-show.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued love and support from our Onyx family! Thank you for respecting our stylists’ time, supporting our business, and allowing us to do what we love every day.

✨ A NEW CHAPTER IN HAIR & SCALP HEALTH ✨

I’m so excited to share I spent my days off this week in class… and in a couple weeks I’ll be a certified Trichology Hair Loss Practitioner. 🧬🤍

So…what does that mean for YOU?

It means I’m expanding my knowledge beyond the hair itself and diving deeper into the scalp, hair growth cycles, hair thinning, hair loss, and the factors that can affect the health of your hair and scalp.

For my current clients, this means we can be more intentional about your overall hair health, not just how your hair looks when you leave the salon.

For future clients experiencing hair loss, thinning, shedding, changes in density, or scalp concerns, I can provide a more knowledgeable, individualized approach to understanding what may be happening and help you determine appropriate next steps and treatment plan.

💡 My goal isn’t simply to make thinning hair look fuller. My goal is to understand the hair and scalp concerns you’re experiencing and help you navigate them with education, compassion, and a plan.

And for those who have been quietly struggling with hair loss and feeling like you’re the only one… you’re not. 🤍

This is something I’m incredibly passionate about, and I can’t wait to bring this knowledge into my chair at ONYX Hair Studio.
