We may have been thinking about GLP-1s all wrong.
We call them “weight loss drugs.”
But weight loss may only be ONE part of the story.
Because researchers are increasingly interested in what GLP-1 medications may be doing in the BRAIN.
And this is where it gets fascinating.
GLP-1 receptors are involved in pathways related to:
Appetite.

And eating behavior.
