We stopped by Dr. Garza Plastic Surgery, and he and his staff were all in when it came to sporting a third ni**le for a good cause! đ
Our Third Ni**le Campaign is about more than getting people to do a double take. Itâs about raising awareness and funds for the Perky Restoration Program, which provides restorative ni**le tattoos, scar camouflage, and other services at no cost to breast cancer survivors and previvors who need financial assistance.

And sometimes, the hardest part of survivorship isnât what cancer did to their bodies. Itâs what it did to the way they see themselves.
We asked six women to stand in front of a mirror and confront what cancer took from them.
Then, we asked them to look again.
Because while cancer may have changed their reflection, it doesnât get to define who they are.
They are more than their diagnoses. More than their scars. More than what theyâve lost.
And their stories deserve to be told beyond survival.

Pink washing.
Awareness without action.
Only talking about survivors.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month should be about more than turning everything pink.
It should include survivors, previvors, and metavivors. It should make space for the realities of life during and after breast cancer. And it should turn awareness into something that actually moves the needle: education, advocacy, research, resources, and support.
Awareness matters. But what we do with that awareness matters more.
So this October, keep the pink if you want it. Just make sure thereâs purpose behind it.

What happens after the part of the story everyone calls âinspiringâ?
For Krystal + Stacy, it became EPIC.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in their early 30s, they met through the breast cancer community and quickly realized they shared more than a diagnosis. They shared a vision for what support, connection, and life after cancer could look like.
That vision became Find Your EPIC AFter.
This October, Perky + EPIC After came together for Inspiring AND Desired, creating space for women affected by breast cancer to be seen beyond the ribbon, the diagnosis, and the word âsurvivor.â
And the photos were only part of it.
We sat around a table and talked. About identity. Intimacy. Body image. Previvorship. Metastatic breast cancer. Relationships. And the things we donât talk about nearly enough.
Those conversations are coming next.
Because you know the ribbon. Now we want you to know the women behind it.

The laughs get people looking. The Third Ni**le gets people talking. And the reason behind it matters most: helping fund the Perky Restoration Program, which provides restorative tattooing grants to breast cancer survivors and previvors.
