Wildly Rooted

This one feels a little different.
Tomorrow is our final Sprout’N About before our family heads to Washington at the end of the month.
We’ve spent a lot of Saturdays here over the last year. Our kids have run around Rainbow Gardens, customers have turned into regulars, vendors have turned into friends, and this market has become one of those places that just feels like part of Wildly Rooted.
And tomorrow, Happy Gut will be right beside us. There’s something pretty special about that too, because they’re becoming part of what Wildly Rooted looks like here in Texas after we move. More on that soon.
We’re putting down new roots, but we’re not pulling these up.
Come hang out with us tomorrow. We’d really love to see you.

A year ago today we opened the website and started taking orders.

That honestly feels kind of wild to say.

Wildly Rooted started because we were making stuff for our own family and got tired of trying to figure out what was actually in everything we were buying.

So we started making our own.

Then somehow that turned into markets, late nights, packing orders, dragging the kids along everywhere, building retail relationships, changing packaging, figuring things out as we went, and meeting so many people who have supported us along the way.

There have definitely been mistakes. A lot of learning. A lot of “what are we even doing” moments.

But there has also been so much good.

Seeing our products in people’s homes.
Seeing them on store shelves.
Meeting customers who keep coming back.
Watching this thing grow little by little into an actual business.

We’re just really thankful.

Thankful for every order.
Every market stop.
Every share.
Every retailer who took a chance on us.
Every person who told someone else about Wildly Rooted.

So yeah… today makes one year.

ONE YEAR. ROOTED TOGETHER.
