With over 20 years of experience here are some things I wish someone told me while just starting out:
✨ Your energy sets the tone. Every client remembers how you made them feel, not just the treatment.
📚 Never stop learning. Certifications, trainings, webinars, and hands-on education will always pay off.
🛍️ Retail isn’t about “selling.” It’s about educating your clients so they understand what their skin truly needs.
🌱 Stay in your own lane. Don’t compare your chapter one to someone else’s chapter twenty. Consistency builds a loyal clientele.
🤝 Build genuine relationships. People come back because they trust you, not just the service.
💆♀️ Take care of yourself, too. Rest isn’t lazy. The better you feel, the better you can show up for your clients.
Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but if you stay consistent, keep learning, and genuinely care about your clients, you’ll build a career you’re proud of. 🤍
