Dear Salon Inclusion Clients,

First and foremost, I want to sincerely thank all of you for your patience, support, kindness, and understanding over these past months. As many of you know, Salon Inclusion experienced severe flooding that forced us to temporarily close our doors unexpectedly. It was an incredibly difficult and emotional situation, and I deeply apologize for the disruption, delays, and inconvenience it may have caused.

Through all of this, your messages, check-ins, encouragement, and loyalty truly meant more to me than I can put into words. Salon Inclusion has always been more than just a salon to me — it’s been a safe, creative, welcoming space built around the people who walk through the door, and that includes every single one of you.

After a long rebuilding process, I’m incredibly excited to share that Salon Inclusion is officially reopening in a NEW LOCATION beginning Friday, May 15.

Appointments will officially resume starting that day, and I cannot wait to welcome everyone back into a fresh new space as we move forward into this next chapter together.

This transition has not been easy financially or emotionally, but I’ve worked extremely hard to rebuild and keep this business alive because I truly love what I do and the community we’ve created together. Supporting small businesses during moments like these genuinely makes a difference, and every appointment helps more than you know.

Whether you’ve been with me for years or it’s simply been a while since your last visit, I would absolutely love to see you back in my chair again.

I can't believe it...

Dear Clients and Friends,

This is an email I hoped I would never have to write.

As many of you know, on Super Bowl Sunday the salon experienced severe flooding caused by a plumbing failure in the apartments above us. What initially felt like a temporary setback quickly became something much larger. After careful inspections and professional opinions, it became clear that the space would require extensive, specialized remediation to be truly safe and suitable for a working salon.

Unfortunately, the building ownership has chosen not to complete the level of professional restoration necessary to properly repair the damage. After weeks of stress, uncertainty, and difficult conversations, I have made the incredibly hard decision to permanently close our current location.

This salon was more than just a business. It was built with years of dedication, long hours, sacrifice, and love. It has been a safe space for conversation, transformation, laughter, healing, and connection. Many of you have sat in my chair through some of life’s biggest milestones — and you’ve supported me through mine. That is what makes this so emotional.

Please know this decision was not made lightly. Your safety, my professional standards, and the integrity of the environment I provide will always come first. I could not continue in a space that did not meet those standards.

While this chapter is closing, the story is not over. I am actively searching for a new location — one that reflects the quality, care, and experience you deserve. I truly believe something better is ahead, even if the path here has been painful.

We FLOODED y'all!

Urgent Update: Salon Inclusion Temporarily Closed Due to Flooding!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our beloved Salon Inclusion has suffered from flooding, and we will be closed for the next week or two as we address the damage. If you have appointments scheduled during this time, please rest assured that I will reach out to discuss your options. If you haven't heard from me, don't hesitate to call or text so I can assist you personally. We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as possible!

As many of you know, I recently went through a major life transition and relocation following the end of my marriage. The move has created significant financial strain personally, and now an unexpected setback has placed additional pressure on the shop at a time when both Jenny and I are temporarily unable to work.

We truly did not anticipate needing to ask for help, especially given how challenging the current economic climate is for everyone. However, in order to keep the shop afloat during this short period of recovery, we are reaching out to our community for support.
