Long Time no post. But this post is a very important one.
Over 3 years ago I quit my job at Tom Ford Beauty and Givenchy Beauty to embark in a new journey. Never in my life I thought I’d be tattooing ppls faces and love it. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I microblade, ombre powder brows, No, not like the OG grandma tattoos done in Chinatown. If you know, then you know 😂
After being assaulted and harassed in my early 20s, I pretty much abandoned my social media accounts and focused on NOW, real time, real friends and family.
Starting this business from scratch has showed me bravery I didn’t know I had and the strength I thought I lost. With everyone’s support, I thrived. I am blessed to have a great support system, clients and colleagues. The lock down was rough, especially for small business. I think we’ve all seen business big or small completely closed their doors for good and it’s heartbreaking.
After lockdown was lifted, I was pleasantly surprised to see old coworkers, friends I’ve haven’t spoken to for years and past clients referrals making an appt to see me 🥰 I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know.
I have never celebrated any small winnings Bc to me they were small, But it’s important to remember that a win is a win.
