The Best Little Cooking Classes in San Francisco Welcome to Chef Joe's Culinary Salon! - The best hands-on cooking classes in San Francisco!
Whether you are a novice or an experienced foodie there is something for everyone at Chef Joe's. All classes are hands on, informative, fun, and approachable to all levels. The classes are limited to 8 people per class (up to 12 for private groups) so you get lots of personal attention. You can sign up for a series of classes or register on an individual class basis. You can also book a private class with a group of your friends and/or colleagues and choose a date, time and menu that work’s best for you. With Chef Joe you will learn some great tips, techniques and methods of cooking. You’ll also get a little food history, anthropology, and some entertaining anecdotes thrown in as well. Tonight's amazing La Cuisine du Poulet class featuring Coq au Vin (forgot to take a picture), Chicken w/ Lemon-Caper-White Wine-Veloute Sauce, Chicken Marsala, and a Succulent Whole Roasted Chicken with Herbs. Also included in tonight's class, roasted rosemary potatoes, tomatoes Provencal and pumpkin filled zucchini. Not to mention the fine group of students we had in attendance that made the class super enjoyable and special!

Last night's delicious popular pick "The Road to Marrakesh" featuring: Cucumber-Olive-Za'atar Salad, Chicken Tajine, Pumpkin-Sweet Potato-Chick Pea Stew and Moroccan-Lemon-Yogurt Cake. Tonight's super fun, tantalizingly delicious, "Journey to Jerusalem" menu class (aka Middle Eastern Vegetarian Favorites), was a huge hit especially with the fantastic group of attendees we had on hand. Tonight's menu featured: Israeli style Sabich, Falafel Salad with Lemon-Tahini Dressing, Yemen style Zhoug, and fresh made Hummus with Veggies and Grilled Pita.

One of our most popular picks, "Fisherman's Wharf/ North Beach Favorites" class with a fine group of folks, who do the important behind the scenes work, for the San Francisco Unified School District. Last night's menu featured a Classic Caesar Salad, Seafood Cioppino (a San Francisco original!), Grilled Asparagus, and Chocolate Molten Lava Cake! Yum!
