A visit to Tri Cities, WA
The first time I came here, I was 20 years old traveling with my boyfriend to meet some of his family and see where he grew up.
Now, 18 years later (what?! 🤯) I reflect on how much my relationship to this place has changed - how much my life has changed.
Year after year since my partner and son's father's passing, I've hiked these trails.
This time, the following words replay in my mind "I fell in love with you and then I fell in love with the land".
And it's true.
And there's a new level of healing that takes place every visit.
(Not to mention Jupiter & Mercury were transiting my 12H Moon in Cancer this visit💫)
So much perspective changes with huge loss and grief.
For me, this, along with getting sober, has allowed me to appreciate so much that I did not before even notice.

I've always been drawn to Mt. Shasta and the surrounding area.
In the Summertime, my son and I like to drive up to Washington State to visit some of our family. Aside from the already gorgeous and interesting drive, I have been having fun planning beautiful places to stop on the long drive as well.
This year, we took a detour to McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial SP and then the MCloud Falls trifecta (Upper, Middle, & Lower). It was pure magic 💖💦💖💦

As a Leo Rising, this season shines on my 11th House of Friendships, Communities, Groups, & Future Visions - fun, right?!
