This was my first ever Polka Dot Powerhouse Celebration and it was fantastic! There was so much celebrating and just good time spent with some truly wonderful women. I’m grateful for the friendships and connections that continue to grow through this group.
Being part of this group has also played a meaningful role in the journey of building Keca’s Usna into what it is today. The support and connections I’ve received along the way have helped me grow as a business owner. I’m truly grateful for that.
I was honored to receive an award, and I was especially happy to see Katherine Kinney Quandt recognized as well.
KK, thank you for being such an amazing Managing Director. You listen, you care, and you make sure the women in our chapter feel supported and heard. Our growth is a reflection of the environment you help create, and I’m so thankful for everything you do.

Some rooms remind you why you started. Yesterday I joined Dress for Success at the Women Who Inspire Luncheon, surrounded by women who build, lead and lift each other up.
As the CEO of a beauty brand, showing up matters. Keca’s Usna was proud to be a gift bag sponsor and to have our lipstick collection in the auction, sitting beside brands I admire.
Running a business isn’t easy. But with the right people supporting you, anything can happen. To every woman in that room, and to our community who shows up for us every day: thank you. You are the reason we keep going.

I had the opportunity to share that story with Sandy Jessica Colling from Just Travel with Sandy, and it was so much fun talking about the meaning behind the name and how it became part of my journey.

Before I started Keca’s Usna, fear almost convinced me not to.
The fear of failing, getting it wrong, building something and wondering if anyone would even care.
But I realized the only way I could truly fail was by never giving myself the chance to start.
So I pushed through the doubt, quieted the negative thoughts and kept building.
And somewhere along the way, Keca’s Usna became bigger than beauty.
It became a community of women who believe in showing up for themselves and helping the next woman do the same.
Starting will always feel scary. Do it scared anyway. You never know who might find the courage to start because they watched you go first.
I recently spent time with a community of woman at the Global Women’s Conference in Los Angeles. One thing I’ve learned stepping out of corporate and into entrepreneurship is that community hits different when women choose collaboration over competition.
It’s about building a bigger stage, making room, and reaching back when another woman needs a hand getting up there.
Keca’s Usna was created with every woman in mind.
Different ages. Different backgrounds. Different stories. Different expressions of beauty.
Our intention has always been to build a brand where women can see themselves represented, celebrated, and welcomed. Because beauty was never meant to look just one way.
