3 years. 🫀🫁❤️

Three years ago today, I underwent life-saving surgery for CTEPH. Looking back at these pictures still feels surreal. The IVs, oxygen, tubes, machines, pain, fear, and recovery… and seeing what they actually removed from my lungs reminds me just how serious it all was.

Today, more than anything, I feel blessed. Lucky. Grateful. 🙏🏼

Blessed to have made it through. Blessed for the doctors, nurses, surgeons, family and everyone who helped take care of me. Blessed for every ordinary day that I get to wake up, work, laugh, love my family, and simply be here.

Recovery wasn’t easy, and life after surgery hasn’t always been perfect, but I will never forget that I was given another chance at life. Three years later, I don’t take that for granted.

✨ Moisturize daily
