Kinsley. Our Golden Bear.

Eleven years ago, Kinsley wandered through the open door of where Jen works, laid down, and somehow changed our lives forever.

She came to us with a BB lodged in her head and paw pads that were raw and bloody. She had every reason not to trust people, but that was never Kinsley. She loves everyone she meets, and everyone seems to love her right back.

Now she’s a very senior girl. Her face is whiter, her steps are slower, and the years are showing. But there is still so much love in our sweet old girl, and she gives it freely every single day.

She didn’t just wander through an open door 11 years ago. She wandered straight into our family and our hearts.

We know our time with her is getting shorter, but she is still our sweet Kinsley. Our Golden Bear. Deeply loved.

We got to meet Luna from the Oklahoma German Shepherd Rescue, Inc. yesterday at the Mounds Car Show, and this girl is an absolute sweetheart.

She is such a good girl, loves kids, rides beautifully in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and gives some of the best kisses around.

Luna has also completed a professional board-and-train program and learned her basic obedience commands in English and German. The training may not be brand new, but she clearly remembers what she learned and still responds well.

Luna does need a home with a secure fence at least 8 feet tall and no cats.

She is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find the person who is going to look at that face every day and wonder how they ever lived without her.

Seriously, somebody go get this girl. She is special.

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS FINN KNOWS?

At this point, finding us is starting to feel like a cross between Where’s Waldo and Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?

One week we’re in Sapulpa.
Next thing you know, we’re hanging around the Stockyards in Oklahoma City.
Then suddenly we’re hiding among pumpkins in Meeker.
And before you can say “I swear they were just here,” we’re back in Sapulpa at the VFW.

We’ve got shiny chrome, loud engines, classic rides, handcrafted soaps, lotions… and Suds McNuts — soap for a man’s undercarriage, because even the chassis needs detailing.

And yes, the WORLD FAMOUS Snag Bag of Mysterious Content is available today. What’s in it? Excellent question. That would ruin the mysterious part.

After a long, fantastic day at Finley Farms, we wrapped things up the only proper way… Italian food.

We headed to Nonna's Italian Cafe in Springfield, and this place was phenomenal.

The Caesar salad alone deserves some love—the dressing is house-made and absolutely delicious.

Jen had the Ragu Lasagna and said it was the best lasagna she’s ever had. I went with the Chicken Parmesan—tender, juicy chicken, perfectly cooked, with marinara and Alfredo sauces that were just… perfection.

And our server Karlie was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

Then, because apparently we had learned absolutely nothing about portion control, we grabbed cannolis to go.

OMG.

At this point, I don’t need a ride back to the hotel. I need a wagon.

Nonna’s, you got us. We’ll be back.

We’re all set up at Finley Farms today for their 5th Anniversary Celebration!

Come wander this gorgeous place, check out the pumpkins, food, live music and local makers — then swing by the Finn Knows booth and see what trouble we hauled across state lines.

A TOAST TO FINN AT FINNEGAN’S WAKE!

Sometimes life has a funny way of putting you exactly where you're supposed to be.

While exploring Springfield, Missouri, we stumbled upon Finnegan's Wake . And when your beloved dog’s full name was Finnegan, well, how could we NOT stop in?

Our sweet Finn crossed the Rainbow Bridge three years ago, but his memory lives on in our hearts and in every single product we make at Finn Knows.

And there we were, sitting in an Irish pub bearing his name, raising a glass to the little guy who started it all.

How fitting to toast Finn at Finnegan’s Wake.

We laughed, we remembered, and we couldn't help but think our boy would have approved of a pub with his name on the door.

Here's to you, Finn. You may be gone, but your name is still getting us into all the right places!
