This Facebook memory stopped me in my tracks.
Although I officially earned my Master Cosmetology License in 2017, this photo is from June 28, 2020—the day I refused to let my classmates and me go without being celebrated. Our beauty school was closing its doors for good, and there wasn’t going to be a graduation ceremony. So… I planned one myself.
Looking back now, I realize God was already preparing me.
Eleven years ago, He planted a vision in my spirit to create something that would inspire the next generation through cosmetology. Nine years ago, I stopped waiting and started building.
Fast forward to today…
I’m wearing that same graduation robe as I close out my 5th in-salon P.I.C.K. (Project Inspired Cosmetology Kamp) experience and celebrate our 2nd Showcase & Graduation Ceremony of 2026.
By God’s grace, The B.E. Loved Moore Foundation has now served over 100 youth, and 51 girls have experienced P.I.C.K. Camp—learning not only cosmetology skills but confidence, professionalism, teamwork, and purpose.
This robe represents so much more than earning a license. It reminds me that sometimes God allows you to create the celebration you needed because one day you’ll be creating opportunities for others.
From organizing my own graduation… to now watching young girls walk across the stage to receive their certificates with proud families cheering them on.
Only God could write a story like this.
Here’s to purpose, obedience, legacy, and the lives still waiting to be impacted.
The vision is still unfolding… and we’re just getting started. 💕🐝

At Project Inspired Cosmetology Kamp, every camper receives hands-on cosmetology education, mentorship, life skills training, teamwork experiences, career exposure, and the confidence to dream bigger. From learning the fundamentals of hair care to developing professionalism, communication, and leadership skills, our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower every child who walks through our doors.
