A missing or loose part on your barber chair is NOT just a maintenance problem—it can become a serious safety hazard.
A missing bolt, screw, footrest component, hydraulic part, or other chair hardware can cause the chair to become unstable, shift unexpectedly, tilt, or fail while a client is seated. This could lead to a client falling or being injured—and expose the barber or shop to unnecessary liability.
NEW BARBERS, REMEMBER: Your equipment is part of your professional responsibility. If you notice a part is loose, damaged, or missing:
🛑 STOP using the chair.
🔧 Replace or properly repair the part immediately.
✅ Inspect the chair before putting it back into service.
Never ignore a missing part because “the chair still works.” Safe equipment protects your client, your career, and your business.
