The Why!

Coach Sammy Jo is from a small town in Havre, MT where coaching resources were limited, especially in the jumps.

After years of playing catch up she eventually made it into the Olympic Trails in 2021 (what was supposed to be 2020 before the major pandemic hit)

Her goal is to give athletes the resources she never had z teach them the proper jumping fundamentals then add in more drills and build up skills.

Most of the athletes she has worked with had little to no experience in the jumps and went on to compete varsity. Some setting school records, some ranking top 20 in the state of AZ, and some even acquiring national ranking.

Triple Jump Results

Many of the athletes in this 2 hour camp had never tried triple jump before! Is learning the jump really that difficult or are you lacking proper coaching? Sammy Jo teaches in progressions. You’ll learn the jump without even realizing

‼️Athletes‼️

January Strength Training days will be Wednesday & Friday from 7-8pm at Thunderbird High School. February will most likely move to Monday & Wednesday nights to better prep athletes for weekend track meets.

**Strength Training is for ages 11+. Please email me if interested in joining. Athletes will get onboarded during select training phases to ensure proper training and coaching for all athletes

Jump days for will be before from 5:30-6:45. Please show up to jump practices 5-10 minutes early to assure warm ups are started ON TIME.

For athletes going to both bobcats practice and the strength training I will provide light snacks to eat in the 15 minute gap while we go over lifts for the day. If athletes have allergies or food restrictions please bring own snacks with.

Sunday, February 15 | Long Jump | 3-5pm
Sunday February 22 | Triple Jump | 3-5pm
