Life lately has been a complete dream đ
August was a month that changed my life in soo many ways.
It started out with a life long goal of filming a docu series that is SO close to my heart and has been something I have dreamt about putting together since I became a hairstylist. To actually say that this happened still blows my mind. I am so proud of myself, which is hard for me to say, I am proud of being able to put something like this together. Everyone involved is forever in my heart. I feel so lucky that I get to share this with you guys because I know this series will change the world! The whole experience changed my life and will be something I tell my grandkids one day đ«¶đ»Stay tuned for the release, đ€« sooner than you think!
Then I got to experience âšTHE BTC SHOWâš and HAIR AWARDS with my girls! It was their first time and I was so excited to see how the show changed their lives because it changed mine life the first time I went 6 years ago. My team means the world to me, and to see their eyes light up walking into each room is something I hope they never lose cause I will never forget! I also got to experience the show in a whole new light, and even though I didnât bring home a win, I won in soooo many other ways. I got to connect with people I LOVE and look up to in this industry, some became new friends, some I got to connect with even more. I got to be inspired by the talent and love for the industry for 4 days. Lastly i did something that I will show my kids that if you work hard, and never stop chasing your dreams, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. It was a weekend I will never forget!
August was so amazing and I cannot wait to see what September AND October has in store đ

Letâs break down a BRUNETTE formulation in this
When formulating I always go back to basics of a color wheel. This helps me determine what tones are needed to help create a rich color in my brunettes.
I of course used my favorite from Oligo Professionnel
6gi is my GO TO for a chocolate brunette.
The breakdown of the GI series is
50% Gold 25% blue 25% violet.
What I love about this for brunettes is if you break down the color theory.
1/2 gold + blue= a soft âgreenâ which allows to keep from unwanted red tones in.
THEN
1/2 gold + Violet= a true neutral. So with those mixes you do tend to get a true beautiful neutral chocolate!
