It would be an understatement to say that marriage is easy. What I’ve learned over the past 18 years is that marriage is built on humility, compromise, and forgiveness. It’s realizing that your partner is never your enemy. There are already enough things in this world working against marriage, which is why it’s so important to always lead with that understanding.

Babe, 18 years ago we stood before God and each other and said, “I do.” Through every season that has come our way, we’ve continued to choose those same two words: I do.

We’ve walked through incredibly hard times, and we’ve experienced some of life’s most beautiful moments. We’ve witnessed God’s hand and His miracles in ways we could have never imagined or fully explain. Through it all, His faithfulness has carried us.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it for the rest of my life: I do. I will. And yes… I love you, Babe.

Here’s to a lifetime of anniversaries, celebrations, laughter, growth, and a love that continues to choose each other every single day. Happy 18th Anniversary. ❤️
