Today's topic: “BUT I USED TO TAN FOR THE FULL TIME!” 🤦‍♀️😂

Ahhh yes. My favorite sentence.

Customer: “I used to tan for 12 minutes.”

Me: “Okay! When was the last time you tanned?”

Customer: “Oh, probably March.”

Me: 😐

Ma'am. It's OCTOBER. 🤣

Your tanning bed does not remember you. Your skin does not have a loyalty card. And that tan you had six months ago? SHE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING. 👋😂

I don't care if you used to tan every day, lived in Florida for 10 years, or once turned three shades darker on a cruise in 2008.

If you haven't tanned in 60+ days, we're starting you back at 6–7 minutes! ☀️

And no, telling me “I don't burn” is not going to magically change that. 😂

I'm not trying to ruin your tanning session. I'm trying to keep you from looking like a lobster at a seafood buffet. 🦞🤣

So trust the process, build your time gradually, and remember…

After spending ALL DAY yesterday fully convinced it was Thursday… only to find out I was apparently living in the future and it was still Wednesday…

TODAY MY CALENDAR AND MY BRAIN FINALLY AGREE. 🤣

I cannot tell you how validating this feels.

Yesterday’s Thursday was fake.
Today’s Thursday is REAL. 😂

So if you need me today, I’ll be at Beach Bums enjoying Thursday for the SECOND DAY IN A ROW. 💁‍♀️☀️

And tomorrow?

I’m not even going to say the F-word because with the way things have been going, I’ll probably wake up thinking it’s Saturday. 🤦‍♀️😂

Mentally preparing myself for Friday.

Excuse me?! I have already emotionally completed Wednesday. I do NOT want it back. 😂

At this point, I don’t know what day it is, what week we’re in, or why my brain is trying to fast-forward my life.

Owning a business apparently means you know everyone else’s appointment time, tanning time, membership date, AND when their lotion is on sale…

…but you have absolutely no freaking clue what day it is. 😂☀️

Please tell me I’m not alone because apparently Beach Bums is currently operating one day in the future. 🤣

As of right now, I have no appointments scheduled after 4 PM this Friday. Oct 8th
If you’re planning on coming in between 4–6 PM, please get your appointment on the books now! 📅💕
If Friday morning rolls around and that schedule is still empty after 4… I’ll be taking advantage of the quiet night and closing at 4 PM. 😎🌴
