I am Sara!

I graduated hair school in January of 2010! That’s a loooooong time ago. I worked at Sport Clips straight out of school to get more experience cutting men’s hair before I decided that color was my passion and went to JC Penny Salon until that man behind me and I moved to Bird Island, Minnesota to chase his crop farming dreams, while I worked at a salon in Willmar for about 5 years. Our daughter was born there. After a bit, we decided we wanted to be back by our families and said goodbye to our beloved acreage and having my horses at our home. So, we moved back home where I worked at Hair by Stewart’s in the mall until I went to booth rent at Hair Unlimited with a great group of gals. When COVID hit, I moved to Belle Amé salon to be a bit more flexible with my newfound forced homeschool teacher career for our 2 kids being home - ugh Covid 😭. I was there until just recently, opening my own suite where I am now and absolutely loving it so far.

My husband works in the underground power field, but he is my Bob the builder, mister fix any and everything, “whatever you need babe”, Vikings fan. The wall panels you all love? He did that for me! Along with everything else I can come up with. He built the pastures that homed my equine babies, the stalls they slept in among many other projects. He’s an absolute gem.

We own 2 thoroughbreds - Otto is mine and Tito is our daughters
2 dogs - Juju and R***r and a cat named Millie.

When I am not behind the chair, I am actively running my kiddos to every fall sport, while trying to find time to ride my own horse or hauling them all across the Midwest to practice for our competitions or working part time reception at Dirty Dog Spa. I also LOVE naps, the color black, Carhartt, swearing and being a little out of pocket.
