I’ve never believed your brows should make you look like someone else.
The most beautiful work is the kind that feels almost effortless.
The kind that brings balance to your features, gives you back time in the morning, and still looks like you.
I study your face before I ever think about a brow shape.
Your bone structure. Your natural growth. Your features. Your skin. Your expression.
Because there is no universal brow that makes everyone more beautiful.
There is only the brow that makes you feel more like yourself.
I keep finding myself at doors marked 9.
My previous studio was 9.
And somehow, I’m stepping back into another 9 nine months after I left the last one.
Nine symbolizes completion. A full season of carrying something you cannot see yet.
Growing it quietly.
Becoming someone new in the process.
That’s what these last nine months have felt like for me.
I thought I was leaving a studio.
But really, I was leaving behind a version of myself.
The version who felt like she had to prove herself. Maintain an image. Become someone she thought she needed to be.
And somewhere along the way, I stopped trying to become someone else…
and started coming home to myself.
So here I am, walking through the same door as a different woman.
Maybe the coincidences aren't coincidences.
Maybe sometimes life brings you back to the same place so you can see just how much you've changed.
Nine months of becoming.
Room 9 again.
And this time… she becomes herself. 🌿
