behind every tiny tin of our simply balm is a whole lot of research, several trials, patience, and a surprising amount of mess! 🍯✨

people often see the finished product—smooth, simple, and ready to soothe your skin—but they don't always see the hours of research, testing, and fine-tuning that go into formulating it. crafting truly all-natural skincare means diving deep into ingredient origins, skin compatibility, and precise ratios to ensure everything is just right.

there is something truly special about small-batch production. by making our products in small runs, we have complete control over quality and care, ensuring every single container meets our standards. using purely natural, wholesome ingredients means no shortcuts—just honest, skin-nourishing goodness.

and yes... working with raw, local beeswax and wholesome oils can get pretty chaotic in the work area. but even when the counters are covered and things get a little messy, it is well worth it to us knowing the love, time, and intention that goes into every single container. 💛

what is your favorite part of your daily skincare ritual?

raise a glass and celebrate national mead day! 🍯🥂

did you know national mead day lands on the first saturday in october? (not to be confused with international mead day and national fermentation day celebrated in august.)

mead deserves its very own day to be celebrated because it is widely considered the world's oldest fermented beverage, carrying thousands of years of rich history, folklore, and craft. additionally, it's a wonderful way to honor the hard work of honey bees, the incredible magic they bring to our world, and the season of harvest as a whole! because, let’s be honest, nothing matches crisp autumn weather quite like a glass of honey w**e.

while our own heritage hives mead isn't on the market yet as we are still working toward finding and securing a commercial space for production, you can still join the celebration by checking out fantastic local options right here in south dakota like panacea and big lost.

raise a glass to history, tradition, and the wonderful world of honey today! cheers! 🐝✨

🐝 beeswax melts 🍯

these are probably one of my favorites to make. popping those cute little hexagons out of the molds is so satisfying. and the smell is amazing. we currently have 2 scents:
💜 lavender + lemongrass
🍊 citrus + spice.

if you're looking for a beautiful scent for autumn, we highly recommend our citrus and spice collection. it gives that warm, cozy, fall vibes feel. 🍁🍂🥧

it has been an absolute whirlwind moving, and some days feels like it's never going to end. some moments i wonder if this was the right decision for us or our business. but then i see and hear the laughter from our girls in the yard- something we haven't had since moving to south dakota. buying a house in the city and trying to expand our new little business here was not our original plan. but if we've learned anything in our lives before each other as well as together, mark and i know that God's timing is so much better than ours and His plan and purpose is far superior than our own. we are so excited to share more business plans with you all in the coming months.

We have been busy, busy bees 🐝. We are moving to a new house we recently closed on, and while that is taking place we wanted you to know that our processing times will be extended slightly due to the move. We appreciate your patience with us and look forward to sharing our journey ahead- including our hopes for some fresh cut flowers next spring!

🤎 care.

small, family-owned businesses put in work. our ingredients are sourced with intention, everything is crafted by hand and packaged with care, and we strive to be eco-friendly and conscious in all that we do. our goals right now are simple and good products, sustainability, and working with God's abundant creation.

happy mead day, friends! 🍯🥂

did you know that mead is often considered the world's oldest alcoholic beverage? long before w**e or b**r came onto the scene, ancient cultures were fermenting honey, water, and yeast, creating a rich history that spans thousands of years and crosses countless civilizations.

while our own heritage hives mead isn't quite ready for the public yet, there are two fantastic local options you can try right here in south dakota to celebrate: panacea and big lost!

grab a bottle, pour a glass, and raise a toast to history's favorite honey w**e today. cheers! 🐝✨
