Ugh okay, this is the part of being a business owner that I hate, but must do. Please read.

Unfortunately in the last week I have had too many no-shows and last minute cancelations. Three of them just today. This means I couldn't fill the appointment time, and wasn't able to make money. Technically, I have a card on file for most people, so I can charge a fee, but I understand life happens, so I hate doing it. I have also ran into people shutting off their card, so it doesn't do much good either way.
However, I am not going to be able to stay in business if this trend continues, so I will now have to stick to my current policies and will be implementing a few new things:

* Anyone who completely misses their appoinment and didn't make contact prior to the appointment time will be charged 100% of the service charge.
The fee must be paid before you will be able to schedule your next appointment.

*If you cancel, but don't cancel before the 24 hour window, you will be charged 50% of the service charge. This must be paid before you can schedule your next appointment.

* (New!) All first time clients will be required to book their first appointment online, so they can read and acknowledge all of Studio Hygeia's policies before the appointment is accepted.

* (New!) If you missed your appointment completely, or canceled within the 24 hour window, you will not be able to book popular times for 2 months. These include Mondays, Fridays, 9am-1130am and 5-7pm slots.

I understand summertime means plans are always changing, and kids are out of school, so it is harder to take time for yourself. I try hard to be very flexible and work something out, if there is communication, because I love my clients and appreciate every one of you 💚 But I just ask that you respect my time.

Please cancel or reschedule if you need to! Reminder texts and emails are sent out at 72 and 24 hours before the appointment so you can cancel or reschedule if needed at that time, by either following the link in the text or calling me. If you aren't getting reminder texts, please reach out! Your number may be wrong in the system.
