The Quilting BEA

My sweet little Connor come to visit me today. We thought snuggling under a quilt while swinging and counting cars going by was a must!

My Romeo and I took off to Cedar Rapids to visit dear friends of ours. Gary and Marilyn vacation with us every year. They married a few years back and we were not able to make it to the wedding. Well, since quilts are gifts of love and from the heart, I decided that this Quilting BEA quilt must be gifted to them. HERE’S TO A LIFELONG FRIENDSHIP WITH LOTS OF LAUGHS AND HEARTFELT CONVERSATIONS.

There are just no words…but AMAZING! Karla is now finished with the quilting. She snapped these photos as she was removing the quilt off the frame. These photos are of the quilt back.

Awesome job Karla. It’s absolutely amazing! 💗 it!

Jaden’s quilt is being quilted via long arm quilting machine. We are using a light grey thread. Thank you Karla!!

Just putting this portable small vacuum cleaner on my site because I really love it. After every quilt I make, I use this vacuum to clean out all the lint etc. from my sewing machine. It work great! I bought it off of Amazon.

Traveled to Lost Island to Mike and Karla’s house on the lake. Karla has a long arm quilting machine and has quilted many beautiful quilts that she makes. Normally I quilt on my machine or by hand…but Jaden’s quilt is rather unique that it will be better off on Karla’s long arm. (And it’s so much faster). 🙂. The quilt is prepared and ready to go!

I’m now getting the back fabric ready to go on the longarm this afternoon.

THIS IS WHO JADEN IS:….. These facts are totally definitive and will be on the back of her quilt. The quilt top is now ready to be quilted.

Almost to the end of Jaden’s quilt top. This song I’m printing on fabric goes on the back of her quilt that her brother wrote for her. I will also add the beautiful fabric photo of Jesus holding her. It’s breathtaking.
