I’ve been noticing how quickly this space is getting its personality.

GRōWHaus is still new and finding its rhythm. The plants are adjusting to the new light, the ceramics made by my friend Sara have found their home, and my granny’s powder box sits on my color bar as a reminder to stay joyful and sweet.

Then there’s Ashlynn, my protege, who’s been by my side through much of this transition. Getting to slow down and do her hair here felt like a full circle moment. I’m so proud of who she’s becoming, and I hope you get to see more of her as she continues her cosmetology journey.

This space is becoming what I hoped it would be. It's thoughtful, creative, personal, and alive with the people who pass through it.

I don’t currently offer extensions to the public, but for my friend’s bridal hair, and as her maid of honor, I made an exception.

I’ve considered bringing extensions into my service menu, but only if it aligns with what GRōWHaus is built on: intentional hair, honest conversation, and beauty that still feels like you. I’d love to share more of my thoughts on extensions and why I’ve been hesitant. Let me know if you’d like to hear more.
