Over the last decade, you’ve gone from friend, to client, to business partner, to one of my very best friends. A woman of many hats, and someone I’m incredibly thankful for. Thank you for always taking a chance on me, trusting me with your hair through every season, and supporting me along the way. Watching our friendship grow alongside my career has been such a gift.

Five years ago, if you had told me I’d own an award-winning salon, lead a team of 12 incredible women, and have the opportunity to educate hairstylists across the country, I probably would have laughed.

So, for those who are new here… hi! I’m Macie.

I’m a wife, a mama of three, salon owner, hairstylist, educator, and someone who truly believes there is always more to learn.

As many of you know, I’ve been educating for the past few years, and on my birthday, Monday, August 10th, I officially begin my journey as a Keune Educator. I couldn’t be more excited to represent a company whose values align so closely with mine and to continue pouring into our industry.

Doing hair has always been my passion, but teaching other stylists is what truly fills my cup. Watching someone gain confidence, master a new technique, or grow into the career they’ve dreamed of is one of the greatest gifts this profession has given me.

At the same time, being present for my family will always be my number one priority. You’ll usually find me bouncing between football, baseball, basketball, soccer, dance, education events, days behind the chair, and running The Look Hair Studio alongside the most incredible team.

It’s a busy season of life, but it’s a season I’m incredibly grateful for.

Because of that growth, this fall I’ll be transitioning from three days a week behind the chair to two. While I am currently not accepting new clients, I want my existing clients to know that I will never completely step away from doing hair. Behind the chair will always be a part of who I am.

I also know that my schedule may not always align with yours anymore, and that’s okay. One of the things I’m most proud of isn’t just the salon we’ve built—it’s the team we’ve built.

Over the years, I’ve invested countless hours into education, advanced training, bringing industry leaders into our salon, and mentoring each stylist. Today, I can genuinely say I have complete confidence in every single member of our team. Each stylist has their own strengths, specialties, and artistic style, and I know you’ll be in exceptional hands with any recommendation I make.

So if scheduling with me ever becomes difficult, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be honored to pair you with the stylist on our team who best fits your hair goals.

My personal phone is always with me, but between educating, being behind the chair, running the business, and chasing three kids around to all of their activities, I sometimes get behind on personal messages. Also, because I personally manage our salon social media accounts, Facebook Messenger messages on my personal page can sometimes take me the longest to see.

Looking back, my biggest accomplishment isn’t the awards or the milestones.

It’s getting to work alongside 12 hardworking, talented women who inspire me every single day.
