Wild Meadow Face Potion is good for all skin types and is specifically good for this dry season we are moving into.
The herbs we steeped for six weeks in the oils for maximum skin nutritional benefits.
I love Goldenrod so much. I can never have enough.
The flowers and leaves can be used in teas for allergy and mass cell support. It contains querecetin, which is a flavonoid that helps inhibit mass cell degradation involved in allergic reactions. It also helps relieve sinus congestion.
It’s also an anti inflammatory and helps relieve joint and arthritis pain. Which is why I also put it in my healing salve.
These Witch’s Torches are made the intention and are Reiki infused

Wormwood is used for protection and banishing negative energy as well as divination, psychic sight and spirit and ancestor communication.
Mugwort brings dreams and psychic awareness and aids in divination, protection and spiritual communication.
Rosemary is chosen for protection, mental clarity, remembrance and connection to ancestors.
Sage is for purification and cleansing (I never use white sage. I only use sage I grow myself).
Mullein it’s self is actually connected with ancestors and courage.
Rose petals are for healing from grief, honoring ancestors and protection.
Calendula is used to guide the dead and for psychic vision and also represents the dying sun as we move into winter.

You can relight them as many times as you want. (Never them unattended while burning)
Westhampton Massachusetts hosts the best Fall Festival and The Great Pumpkin Roll every year and it’s our favorite event all year. It seriously feels like we are living in a Hallmark movie or the Gilmore Girls.
Cow pie bingo, fresh cut flowers, fairy house building, hammer throwing and skillet throwing, black smith demonstrations, tractor rides, and so much more!
Western Massachusetts is seriously the best place.

Before I make anything, whether it be herbal remedies or spell candles, I always prepare my space spiritually and set the intentions I want for the day and the project.
Not our usual Apothecary and plant witch content but we had fun doing this and wanted to say…
Happy International Le***an Day from your favorite le***an ghosties
(Special thanks to Mr. Skellibones for his fantastic background work)
Let’s head to the garden and see who made it through the freeze and who didn’t.
I really thought Pumpkins were more hardy.
Spoiler alert: no need to worry about the mint!
First frost of season means it’s BIG harvest time! We spent the day gathering everything that would not survive the freezing temperature, packing the dehydrators and hanging bundles of plants. We will pickle and freeze vegetables as well and I made basil vinegar.
This is always an exciting day and an exhausting one.
I’m always a little stressed about having enough herbs to get us through winter.
Happy Tea Tuesday!
Today I’m drinking October Slide! It’s specifically designed to support those of us with chronic illness who have a hard time this time of year with seasonal flare ups!
Tulsi is an adaptogen and anti stress herb. So your body can relax and focus on healing.
Ginger is a digestive, and anti inflammatory support plant.
Turmeric is a well know anti-inflammatory.
Plantain leaf soothes irritated tissues and is an excellent inflammatory support plant.
Heal All (Prunella vulgaris) is also an adaptivagin with anti inflammatory support.
Nettle is a mineral-rich plant traditionally used for inflammatory and seasonal wellness support.
Time for a quick after dinner harvesting trip to the garden! I was super nervous that to pineapple sage would turn black and get ruined by last tonight’s lows being in the 30s.
Technically tonight is our first frost but I went ahead and brought the pineapple sage in early.
Better safe than sorry!
