One of the things I love most about being a Massage Therapist is getting to help the people in my community and seeing how my work impacts my clients !

My client was experiencing intense forearm pain radiating from his wrist to his elbow
So I had him rotate his wrist while I held constant pressure on his Brachioradialis. This is Active Release!
Active release works by the practitioner/therapist applying constant pressure on a muscle while the patient/client moves said muscle.
Active Release is my go to technique because it releases the muscle tension faster and more efficiently than just using the OG techniques; i.e rubbing the muscle.
During this session the client reported radiating pain shooting up into his upper arm, this is very common.
This technique can be intense depending on how long the tension/pain has been occurring.
The longer the pain = More tension = more intense.
(You can see this in the video where his arm starts shaking)
Once the session was over, he had stated he could feel the tension melting away!
