Let’s talk about SYMMETRY ✨

We all know what symmetry is, but do we all know that with shaping a face; it is almost impossible to achieve 100% symmetry?

This is due to our faces not being symmetrical. Our right and left sides differ in many ways and have subtle differences. This is normal and actually, perfectly symmetrical faces often look unnatural and unsettling according to studies.

Minor, natural variations are what makes your face unique and authentic.

This is the number one request when clients walk into my studio: “ I want perfectly symmetrical brows”.

What artists like me do is “balance” your face than attempt to give you 100% symmetrical brows. The reason? If your eyes sit higher or lower, your brows and brow bone is meant to sit that same way. We aim to give you balanced brows with an evenly measured shape.

The difference is meant to be natural to suite your face structure.

As you can see in this example: my gorgeous client had very different and uneven brows. I kept her natural brows and enhanced her natural look by making small adjustments to her brows.
This still allowed her brows to look super natural and suite her face shape perfectly 😍
