Great news for members!
Aetna and SSM Managed Care have reached a new agreement.
As a result, SSM doctors, hospitals, and facilities will remain in-network and will not be terminated on August 1, 2026.
If you currently receive care through SSM, you can continue seeing your providers as usual.
If you have questions about your benefits or network coverage, please contact the Benefit Office at (314) 644-2777.

Was your prescription denied at the pharmacy?
Before you panic, there may be a simple explanation.
One of the most common reasons for prescription issues is a missing Coordination of Benefits (COB) form.
Even if you don't have other insurance coverage, the form must still be completed and returned each year. If your birthday has already passed and you haven't completed your COB form, contact the Benefit Office.

June is Men's Health Month.
When you're busy working, it's easy to put your own health on the back burner. But taking care of yourself today can help prevent bigger health problems down the road.
Whether it's scheduling an annual checkup, completing your wellness screening, managing chronic pain, or talking with a healthcare provider about a concern you've been putting off, your benefits are there to help.
Your health matters. Make time for it this month.

Most people qualify for Medicare at age 65, but there are important exceptions. If Social Security has determined you are “totally and permanently disabled,” or if you have end-stage renal disease, you may be eligible for Medicare at any age.
If either situation applies before you turn 65, contact the Benefit Office immediately so we can help prevent any gap in your coverage or benefits.
