Another thing I wanted to add is, us hairstylists are humans. We are not magicians or miracle workers. We try our hardest to make our clients feel beautiful and comfortable and sometimes it’s hard to please everyone. If you always have high expectations especially when needing a color correction, or want what you want instantly, chances are you will leave unhappy. I try my best to connect with all of my clients but sometimes things don’t go as planned. I’ve been in the industry a long time, and have had my fair share of anxiety and self doubt when something I worked hard on doesn’t come out the way as planned. Nobody’s perfect and I just wanted to show that side of a hairstylist that you don’t see behind the scenes. Social media also often portrays things as magical, but I can guarantee every single hairstylist has had multiple breakdowns in the color room or a good cry in the bathroom. 😅

Hello my lovelies! I wanted to make a post regarding the importance of purple toning shampoo. If you have blonde/silver/grey hair, purple shampoo is a must! Blonde hair oxidizes, even when it is platinum! Purple shampoo can save your hair from looking brassy and you will need less trips to the salon. It’s important to maintain blonde/grey hair at home as well so you continue to have the best results. The left is my hair looking a bit yellow from a few days ago. Right is today after using a purple toning shampoo and leaving it on for 10 minutes. It’s looking whiter and I don’t have to use a toner on it for a while! 🤍

Seriously in love with the transformation today on ! It was her first time ever coloring her hair! We also did a modern s**g cut to go along with it 🖤🤍
