Here is a little clip from my first coaching for MMCP training! This horse appeared very guarded in his pectorals and would turn to warn me that it was uncomfortable there. Instead of ignoring those signs, i started with the PS point in his hind end! Since the body is so connected, sometimes you have to think outside of the box and go where it is easier for the horse. After this he was much more comfortable with me working on his sternum and pectoral muscles and he had some beautiful releases. I was even able to sneak my way to some stifle work, which i was told was usually trickier with this particular horse. Just shows how working WITH the horse, not just ON the horse can be a game changer!!

Bones, brains and all things anatomy… i will never look at a horse the same. We still have 3 days of information left and i already cant believe how much I’ve learned. Not a whole lot of people can say they’ve seen inside of a horses brain, or seen a giraffe c2 next to a horse c2! I am so grateful!!

Hi there, everyone July has been such a busy month! thank you to everyone who has been understanding of my busy schedule! Going into the next few months I suggest booking at least 2 to 4 weeks ahead of time in order for me to schedule accordingly. I should have many more openings come this fall. If you are not already on the schedule and would like to be please message me!
There will be about a week out of each of the next few months that I will be away for learning experiences, like assisting in Masterson method clinics and an immersive anatomy course that I get to attend in August! I will do my best to communicate with everybody if there is a date that does not work for me. thank you guys so much for understanding as I continue to get the best education that I can to help each of your horses! Stay tuned as well as I have something coming for riders soon 🤗
Miss Moose thoroughly enjoying her massage! Just a reminder to stay cool this week and offer your horses lots of Water and electrolytes as needed.

Happy Monday!! July is looking like a full month!! I still have some openings the last week if anyone still wants to book!
People often think equine massage is only for performance athletes, But the mental benefits of bodywork are just as powerful as the physical ones. Physical tension creates mental stress. When I work on a horse, my goal is to activate their parasympathetic nervous system. This shifts them out of "fight or flight" and into a deep state of rest, digestion, and healing. Those cute lip curls and soft eyelids aren't just adorable! they are the exact visual signs of a horse releasing deep-rooted anxiety and mental pressure. Is your horse carrying hidden stress? 📩 Send me a DM or drop a comment below to chat about how bodywork can help them relax!

Want to support your horse's recovery? What better way to do that than with bodywork? I can also provide cupping, kinesiology taping, and red light therapy.
When you are sore or tight, what do you do to make yourself feel better, perhaps having an Epsom salt bath or visiting your massage therapist or doing some stretching? That's exactly what bodywork does for horses. If you've ever seen your horse rubbing their butt on their stall, struggling to pick up a lead, or struggling to come into the bridle, etc., there's a chance they may be restricted in some way, causing tension.
I provide equine sports massage, and trigger point therapy which is a way of releasing tight muscles by staying below the horses brace threshold while working into the deeper muscles to help release tension. I also incorporate personalized stretches into most sessions, depending on the horses needs. I am also an advanced fieldwork student of the masterson method, which is based around reading the horses response pattern to better understand the horse and what they are feeling.

Coming up on 4 years of helping horses feel their best!!! Where in the world does time go?? I remember little 17 year old me being told by most everyone already in the field that people would have a hard time taking me seriously, even though i went through the same process as everyone else at Therasage EMC. I am SO glad that i didn’t let that intimidate me. To all of my clients, THANK YOU for believing in me. Some of you have been here the whole time. My promise to you is that i will never stop learning and growing to help your horses the best i possibly can. I will do something special in august when i officially hit 4 years❤️🤗 picture of little Luci at her 5 day The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork course for tax🤗❤️
