My first client and I had the privilege of watching a beautiful Great Blue Heron gracefully flying along the creek this morning. To some it may seem like such a small thing, but to me it was a sweet reminder of God's goodness and His perfect timing.
I've talked about offering creekside massages for so long. I've known Lori for over a decade, yet it never crossed my mind to ask if I could use her beautiful property. Just as Pastor Brian shared during our outdoor worship service last night, everything is about God's timing. When we try to force things to happen on our timeline, they often don't flow the way they do when we trust His.
Today I was reminded that God's plans are always better than mine.
My heart is so full of gratitude. I'm incredibly thankful for Lori's generosity and for the opportunity to serve these wonderful ladies beside God's beautiful creek. What a peaceful place to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply enjoy His creation.
Today was a beautiful reminder that His timing is always perfect. 🤍

I recently asked the ladies I work alongside with to share a Scripture that brings them comfort.
In the world we live in, it can be easy to look for comfort in things around us. While massages, facials, exercise, time with friends, and other self-care practices can help us relax and recharge, they were never meant to replace the peace that only Jesus can give.
I'd be lying if I said a massage, facial, or any service could truly fulfill the deepest needs of your heart. Only Christ can do that. God may use many things and people to encourage us, but ultimately, our comfort, hope, strength, and peace come from Him.
During trials, heartache, uncertainty, and even the everyday struggles of life, His Word remains constant. We have to spend time seeking Him, reading Scripture, praying, and allowing Him to speak to our hearts.
