Skin exfoliates it’s self! If you well hydrate the skin topically, you can support this natural biological process.

You might not even need a daily chemical exfoliant to clear congestion in the skin. Sometimes all you need is an excellent vitamin A product or prescription to organize skin cell division.

In the consultation price, you are entitled to a free follow up 3 months after your initial consultation for any tweaks or new recommendations.

Mandelic acid and benzoyl peroxide are two fantastic options for acne treatment, but they aren’t always the answer for everyone’s acne.

Here are some of my favorite treatment combinations to recommend for all kinds of acne in my treatment room:

- Azelaic 20% in the AM + Adapalene, Altreno, or Retin A micro in the PM for comedonal acne
- Benzoyl Peroxide and or Azelaic in the AM + Adapalene in PM for inflamed acne
- Yaz and Spironolactone as options for PMOS, acne significantly correlating with the menstrual cycle, or acne resistant to topicals in females
- Azelaic, mandelic acid, and benzoyl peroxide in a routine for clients who are pregnant and acne prone
- Mandelic and altreno for comedonal acne and mild inflammatory acne

All of these options can be combined and specifically tailored to each individual. Slow and gradual increases in treatment strength can help achieve clarity. All acne actives should accompany an appropriate barrier supporting routine with cleansers, moisturizers, and sun protection!

Decanting or changing the container of your sunscreen can compromise the stability of your sunscreen, causing it to break down and lose its SPF rating. Sunscreen is also tested for stability in particular packaging materials to ensure that the chemicals do not interact with the packaging itself. Putting sunscreen into a foreign container risks a reaction between the formula and the packaging.
