At 59, I’m making the most of midlife. Going to the concerts. Taking the trips. Staying out too late. And making memories every chance I get.

Getting older doesn’t mean the fun stops. I think it means you appreciate these moments even more.

Compression socks can help improve blood flow in your legs and reduce swelling during long periods of sitting, which makes them one of my flight non negotiables.

Yes, it can be done! as I’ve gotten older, I want to travel lighter.
My two packing tricks:
• Packing cubes. The soft zip of fabric cubes, stacked like little drawers in my suitcase, keep everything organized and let me fit more without the chaos.
• Lightweight fabrics. Breathable, barely-there materials that fold down like tissue paper, meaning less bulk and more outfit options without taking up space.
I packed a full week of outfits without checking a bag.

I don’t know why nobody is talking about this, but this is a life-saving test and most people over 50 have never heard about it 🫀

It’s called a CAC test (coronary artery calcium scan), basically an X-ray for your heart. It measures calcium buildup in your arteries, and a high score means a higher risk of heart attack.

It’s quick, non-invasive, and often not routinely prescribed, so you may have to ask for it yourself.

If you’re over 50, bring this up at your next doctor’s appointment and send this to someone you love 🤍
