I’m not talking about food. I’m talking about being surrounded by people who have the ability to pour into you but choose to watch you struggle. People who will gladly receive your love, loyalty, support, knowledge, time, and energy, but somehow never have anything to give back.

You should not have to beg to be included, prove that you belong, compete for basic respect, or constantly remind people of your value. A table that requires you to shrink yourself just to keep your seat is not a table worth fighting for. Pay attention to what happens when you need something. Pay attention to who celebrates you, who supports you, who makes room for you, and who only wants access to you when you are useful to them.

Sometimes God will remove you from certain tables because He knows you have been surviving on crumbs when you were meant to be nourished. Stop fighting for seats. Stop forcing connections. Stop trying to convince people to value what they have already shown you they are willing to take for granted. There are tables where you won’t have to beg for a place. You’ll be welcomed, valued, respected, and poured into too. More importantly, the Lord has equipped you with wisdom, knowledge and skills to go build your own. No need to shatter when you have power to shift. Real talk. 🙏🏾

Some people will present themselves as loyal, genuine, and solid while quietly moving with hidden intentions. That’s why I pay more attention to patterns than performances. Anybody can pretend to be solid, but time has a way of revealing what’s really underneath. I’d rather you be honest about who you are than perform loyalty you don’t actually possess. Don’t smile in my face, call yourself genuine, and move differently behind my back.

I pay attention to patterns, energy, and actions. Eventually, what’s hidden always reveals itself. And when I see it, I don’t argue, expose you, or seek revenge. I simply remove your access and let you be exactly who you’ve been pretending not to be. Discernment will teach you that everybody who stands beside you isn’t standing with you. God will always expose the snakes and fakes. Be grateful when he exposes and removes them. ✌🏾

You are stronger than you think. You’ve survived days you never thought you’d make it through, carried things that tried to break you, and still found a way to keep going.

Give yourself credit. You’re not who you were before the storm. You’re wiser, stronger, more grounded, and becoming the woman God created you to be. Keep going. Your story isn’t over. ❤️✨
