Let’s clear something up—because this topic is often wrapped in confusion, judgment, and marketing noise.

Essential oils come from plants. They’re beautiful, complex, and powerful—but they’re also volatile, inconsistent from batch to batch, and not always soap-safe at higher levels.

Fragrance oils, on the other hand, are lab-created blends designed specifically for performance and safety in products like soap. They allow for scents that simply don’t exist in nature (looking at you, bakery and desert-inspired blends 😉) and they hold up beautifully through the soapmaking process.

Here’s the important part:

✨ The fragrance oils I use are phthalate-free and paraben-free.
✨ They are IFRA-compliant and chosen intentionally for skin safety.
✨ They allow for consistency, longevity, and creativity—without sacrificing care.
