⭐️ Lash Tech Tip ⭐️
Before removing the tape… ALWAYS double check for lashes stuck together 👀
This is one of the most important steps in your full set.
After you finish lashing and before you remove the eye pads or tape, you need to go back through the entire set and check for stickies (lashes that are glued together).
🚫 Why this matters:
• Stuck lashes can pull on natural lashes
• They cause discomfort and pain when the client blinks
• They damage natural lash growth
• They ruin retention
• They make your set look messy
Even ONE sticky can make your client feel irritation.
Natural lashes grow at different speeds. If you glue two natural lashes together and one grows faster than the other, it will tug and twist. That’s when clients say:
“My lashes feel tight.”
“They hurt when I blink.”
“They’re poking me.”
And that’s not the look we’re going for 😭
💡 Pro tip:
Before removing tape:
✔️ Go through each section slowly
✔️ Isolate and brush through
✔️ Check inner and outer corners
✔️ Make sure every extension moves freely
