Melissa Owner As the proud owner of Chémel Salon, Salon Designer, Make-up Artist and Educator she is now a 25 year veteran of the industry as she continues to advance her business education on an on-going basis. Her passionate journey is now a full-time venture of team leadership and supporting the growth of Chémel Salon. She believes in mentoring the next generation and training the current staff to enhance their level of dedication to their education and personal growth. As owner of Chémel Salon she feels it is her job to nurture the culture of the salon and for it to directly reflect the highest quality of creativity and communication skills she always strives to perfect in her own personal expectations. Her goal is to enhance one’s inner and outer beauty all at once. With her experience, positive energy and attitude reflected throughout the salon, you will surely come away feeling amazing! “People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

✨ 77 years of Chémel history in one photo… and one beautiful new chapter beginning. ❤️
After nearly 14 years with Chémel, our sweet Alisha has shared that she’ll be retiring from behind the chair at the end of this year to begin a beautiful new chapter at home with her growing family.
There’s something especially meaningful about this photo. I’ve had the privilege of building Chémel for 24 years, Becky has been part of our story for 22, Ashley for 17, and Alisha for nearly 14. That’s almost 77 years of shared Chémel history — years filled with clients, friendship, growth, life changes, laughter, and countless days spent side by side.
Alisha has been such an important part of that story. She has grown here, built a beautiful career, cared for generations of clients, and helped shape Chémel into what it is today.
To Alisha’s clients, while this is a new chapter for her, your relationship with Chémel continues. Over the coming months, Alisha and our team will work together to make your transition thoughtful, personal, and seamless, with your formulas, preferences, and history carefully documented.
Alisha, thank you for nearly 14 years of loyalty, friendship, growth, and heart. What you’ve contributed here will always be part of Chémel.

Happy 4th Chéversary, Amber! ✨
Four years ago, Amber joined the Chémel team, and it’s been so special watching her grow into the talented Designer I she is today.
This has been such a big year for her — full of growth, love, exciting changes, and so many beautiful moments, including getting married! 🤍 Amber brings warmth, creativity, and her own unique energy to our team, and we’re so grateful she chose Chémel as part of her journey.

Three very different personalities, each bringing something special to the team—and often the first hello and last goodbye of your Che’mel visit.

Alisha has one of the most caring hearts and brings so much warmth, loyalty, and steadiness to both her team and her clients. She has also been an incredible example of balancing motherhood, family, and a successful career behind the chair with grace and dedication.
