I’m seriously considering entering Charred Honey + Vanilla into a few upcoming fragrance competitions. It will be my first time opening myself up to being judged!

Let's be honest - I was a little stingy with Southern Belle for a while 😂

I originally created it as a perfume and was pretty stubborn about turning it into a home fragrance because, well… that wasn’t its intention!

But after testing it in my workspace (and then actually wanting to go in my office and work), I realized I had created something special.

And I talk about it a lot - how I enjoy curating the scent itself more than deciding what product it becomes. It's about creating a specific feeling, mood, or charisma around a fragrance.

So I really shouldn't be surprised that Southern Belle has quickly become my best selling diffuser scent.

It's fresh and dainty with sparkling bergamot, soft jasmine, and sweet apricot. And perhaps the best part? It's a citrus scent that will actually throw in your 200 sq. ft. space without being overly strong. Plus, like the rest of my fragrance line, it’s made better for you and the environment without any phthalates or parabens.

Because if it doesn't smell up your room and make you feel good, then what's the point of just looking pretty? 😋🤗

I was finally able to sit down and be creative this past Sunday during my demo shift at the state fair.

I focused on finalizing Wildflowers as a botanical spray perfume, using my original formula as my heart note while adding a slight woodsy depth and a bright, citrus balance to the top.

Now that I have a working formula, I’ll start testing on my skin to see how it lays. That will help me decide whether any little tweaks are needed to the blend or concentration level.

I hope to release it by end of October - I mean - you can smell like a garden of wildflowers anytime of year. Am I right?!

I created Crisp Apple as an ode to the changing season and Washington's official state fruit. Hand-poured in a stunning translucent merlot-red jar with notes of Macintosh apple, green leaves and cedar, plus natural essential oils including cinnamon leaf.
