📌Announcement: Walk for Peace in Utah This Weekend | September 4–5, 2026

We are delighted to share that Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra Tuệ Nhân and Aloka will be visiting Wat Lao Salt Lake Buddharam in West Valley City, Utah, this weekend as part of the temple’s special week of ceremonies and the annual gathering of the Lao-American Buddhist Monks Council.

Another familiar member of the Walk for Peace, Venerable Maha Dam Phommasan, will also be participating in the program.

On Friday, September 4, Venerable Maha Dam Phommasan is scheduled to give the evening Dhamma talk from 7:00–9:00 PM, together with evening prayers and meditation.

On Saturday, September 5, Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra will join the gathering and is scheduled to offer Dhamma talk from 5:00–9:00 PM as part of the evening program. And yes, Aloka will be there too!

For our friends and supporters in Utah and the surrounding Salt Lake City area, we warmly extend an invitation to join us for these auspicious events and reconnect with the venerable monks and members of the Walk for Peace.

We express our deepest gratitude to Wat Lao Salt Lake Buddharam and the Lao-American Buddhist community for their gracious invitation and generous hospitality. May this sacred gathering be a blessed opportunity to unite in peace and harmony.

May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏

Going with the flow doesn’t mean giving up. It means knowing when to act and when to let go. Do what you can, release what you cannot control, and trust that slow progress is still progress. Peace begins when you stop fighting every wave.
