Stylist, Colorist & Makeup Artist located in the heart of South Tampa in the Ryan Joseph Photography Studio. Then, that was it. Then there's color. Oh color!
As a second generation cosmetologist, I have been around the business of beauty my entire life. Watching my mother as she took clients in our house, made me fall in love with the idea of becoming a stylist. I quickly had my own clientele of 8 year olds who were very eager to be my earliest models. I was 10 years old when I wrapped my very first perm (on my sister, of course). I followed my heart,
and received my license which I have had for over 14 years now. Having been trained under the supervision of a TIGI professional educator was also key to my cutting success. I re-learned what my mother had always said... cutting hair is an art and it has to be felt, not just cut! Her philosophy being that of a European/Italian Stylist, is very similar to that of the TIGI concept. I so strongly believe in continuing your education no matter how many years in the business you may have, I began to focus my career on educating stylists in the art of Bridal Hair & Makeup. I love to use color. My color line? Goldwell Color. Understandably, it's the preferred color line of celebrity stylists. The use of Goldwell Color has catapulted me as one of the top colorists in South Tampa. Using only the best color allows for me to deliver shine & healthy manageability you just cannot receive with many color lines. Just the lightener alone, will have you thrilled with excitement when you feel the difference in your hair afterwards. I've always been an ambassador for great hair! So I only use the best color! Did I mention I'm an artist? I have been painting for most of my life. When I picked up a makeup brush and used it on a client for the first time, I felt as though I were creating a beautiful painting. The canvas was different, but the beauty... the same. My makeup of choice? Well, it has taken me all of 8 years to perfect my kit. Some things I just cannot share on the internet! The best thing about me; however, is that I am a mother to Jasmine and Gia and a wife to Ryan. The overwhelming love I receive from my family, is just something I would never compromise. But that's just it really. Balance. To be the best at anything you need balance in life or you will start to dislike the demands of what is it you're too focused with. I enjoy life, I enjoy my family and I enjoy my work! I hope you have a better insight as to the person I am, and I hope to meet you soon. Warmly,
