Why does hyperpigmentation take so long to fade? Here’s what’s actually happening 👇

🔹 Recovery before correction — if your skin barrier is compromised or inflamed, we calm that first. Treating pigment on damaged skin just creates more irritation and more pigment.

🔹 Treat the trigger, not just the spot with post-acne marks and melasma, every new breakout can leave another mark. Managing the trigger is part of treating the pigmentation.

🔹 SPF daily, non-negotiable for melasma specifically, a tinted sunscreen with iron oxides also helps protect against visible light.

🔹 Give it real time ,skin renewal takes weeks and looks different for everyone. We track progress over 8–12 weeks, not days. Melasma and deeper pigmentation can take 3–12 months.

My approach: calm what keeps triggering the pigment, protect daily, give home care time to work, then choose in-room treatment based on how your skin actually responds.
