Fresh hair has a way of turning “I’m staying home” into “where are we going?”
She came in on a Thursday with nothing on her calendar. By the time she stood up from my chair, she was texting her girls asking who’s free for dinner, checking the mirror one more time, shaking it out like she’d been waiting all week to do exactly that.

Maybe not. But years behind the chair, I can tell you what I’ve seen it buy.
