The Wheel of Trust!

Don Pedro Albizu Campos did not speak to comfort Puerto Rico—he spoke to shake it awake. His brutal words were not a condemnation of Boricua intelligence, but an indictment of a colonial system that teaches a people to doubt themselves, surrender their decisions and then confuse dependence with incapacity. This quote will undoubtedly rattle some feathers, as uncomfortable truths often do. But if it awakens even a few Boricuas from their colonial slumber, then let the feathers fly.
